Executive Assistant

As an Executive Assistant you will be the right hand to our Vice President of CAG (Companion Animal Group) Commercial (Europe), keeping a busy leader organized, prepared and focused on what matters most. You will also provide administrative support to the VP's direct reports and the team based at our Zug, Switzerland office. This is a full-time hybrid role, Monday to Friday, with a minimum of 3 days a week onsite and occasional flexibility for European travel and time zones.

Our commercial teams are the link between IDEXX innovation and the veterinary clinics and pet owners who rely on it. By taking care of the details, you give the Vice President more time to lead people, support customers and drive growth across Europe, at the center of a collaborative, international team.

In this role:

• You will manage the Vice President's calendar, resolve conflicts and protect time for the decisions and customer conversations that matter most.

• You'll stay one step ahead by following the business rhythm (leadership meetings, quarterly reviews, planning cycles) so your VP is always prepared.

• You'll plan international travel, prepare Concur expense reports and coordinate leadership meetings, customer visits and offsites.

• Your day-to-day will include preparing agendas, briefing materials, presentations and meeting notes, using AI-based tools to draft and summarize accurately and confidentially.

• You'll partner with the European leadership team, Finance and fellow administrative professionals, and handle contracts for approval (including DocuSign) and sensitive information with discretion.

• You'll take on varied projects and be the go-to person for a fast-paced, international team.

What you need to succeed:

• 5 years of administrative experience supporting senior or executive leaders

• Excellent organization and time management, with the ability to juggle changing priorities

• Exceptional written and spoken English at executive level

• Sound judgment and discretion with confidential information

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and video conferencing

• A proactive, solution-focused approach and confidence making decisions independently

• Experience arranging international travel and using Concur or a similar expense system

• Salary range: CHF 85,000 – 95,000 / year
