WHO WE ARE:
Relm is a specialty insurer built for businesses shaping the future.
We work with companies operating across digital assets and Web3, AI, space, fintech, biotech and other emerging industries where traditional insurance markets can struggle to keep pace.
With teams across London, New York, Dubai, Miami and Bermuda, we combine specialist underwriting expertise with curiosity, creativity and a willingness to understand risks others may not.
We are looking for a seasoned Executive Assistant to support our Chief People Officer, keep People Operations projects moving, and serve as our in-country lead in the Philippines. Our Philippines team works fully remotely, and this role is the local point of contact for employees, counsel, and vendors, and the person who keeps our Philippine entity compliant.
This is a fast-paced role where priorities change often and sometimes compete. You will thrive here if you re-plan quickly, stay calm under pressure, and keep work moving.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Manage the CPO’s calendar, communications, meeting preparation, and travel across multiple time zones.
- Assist in the preparation of executive and Board materials, and track action items through to completion.
- Manage all People Operations projects, following up with project owners and flagging risks early.
- Serve as Relm’s in-country lead and first point of contact for our Philippines team on local matters.
- Work with local counsel and service providers to keep our Philippine entity compliant with SEC, BIR, DOLE, local permit, and statutory requirements.
- Manage local vendors, equipment, and administration for the Philippine entity.
- Support departmental administration, including invoices, expense tracking, and budget reconciliation.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
- 7+ years of experience as an executive assistant supporting C-suite or senior executives.
- Experience coordinating multiple projects at once and following through to on-time delivery.
- Prior night shift experience supporting US-based or international leaders, and comfort sustaining that schedule long term.
- The agility to manage competing and changing priorities without losing quality.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills and experience with project management tools such as Monday.com.
- Sound judgment and complete discretion with confidential information.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with Philippine corporate or employment compliance.
- Experience supporting an HR or People leader.
- A background in insurance, financial services, or professional services.
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field.
This is a fully remote role based in the Philippines. You will work a night shift aligned to US Eastern Time business hours, with occasional daytime availability for local counsel, government agency, and vendor matters. Flexibility is required for urgent matters.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- 13th Month Pay & Overtime Compensation: Enjoy an extra financial boost with a 13th-month pay, along with overtime pay for any additional hours worked.
- Night Shift Differential: Earn a 10% premium for shifts worked between 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., recognizing the value of your dedication during off-peak hours.
- Comprehensive Government Benefits: Rest easy knowing you are covered by essential government benefits such as SSS, PHIC, and HDMF.
- HMO Health Coverage: We offer full health coverage with an HMO plan to ensure you and your family are taken care of.
- Internet Allowance: Stay connected with an internet allowance to support your productivity, whether working remotely or in the office.
- Work Equipment Provided: We ensure you have the tools you need for success by providing the necessary work equipment.
- Discretionary Bonus: In addition to your salary, you’ll be eligible for a discretionary bonus, rewarding your hard work and dedication.
- Paid Time Off (PTO): Enjoy 15 days of paid leave annually, offering you the flexibility to take time off when you need it most.
- De Minimis Benefits (Monthly): Additional perks to support your daily needs, including:
- Rice Subsidy: A monthly subsidy for rice.
- Meal Allowance: A daily allowance for meals during your workdays.
- Laundry Allowance: Monthly support for laundry expenses
At Relm, you won’t just join a company - you’ll be part of a team that’s shaping the future. If you’re ready to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE WORKING WITH US:
Relm is a team of innovators redefining what’s possible in insurance.
You’ll work in an environment that encourages curiosity, ownership and new ideas, with the opportunity to help shape products, markets and ways of working rather than simply inherit them.
We invest in our people and give them the support, tools and development they need to do their best work and continue growing with the business.
