Show job description
We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to work closely with our CEO and wider Senior Leadership Team, providing high-quality executive, organisational and personal support.

This is a trusted, hands-on role for someone who loves creating order from complexity and staying one step ahead. You'll take ownership of the CEO's diary, priorities, meetings, actions and logistics, ensuring commitments are followed through and creating the capacity for the CEO to focus on leading and growing Silver Cloud.

The role combines executive and Board support with personal administration, business and personal logistics, so you'll need to be equally comfortable coordinating a senior leadership meeting, reorganising a busy diary or making sure an important personal commitment has been taken care of.

You'll also be highly confident with technology. We're looking for someone who knows how to use Microsoft 365, productivity tools and AI to create smarter, more organised ways of working.
  • Location: Hybrid - home based with regular work from Wrabness, Essex, plus occasional travel to London
  • Type: Part-time, with flexible hours spread across five days
  • Reporting to: CEO
You’ll ideally already have experience as an Executive Assistant, Senior Executive Assistant or equivalent, supporting a CEO, Founder or other C-suite leader.
You'll also bring:
  • Experience owning a busy and complex executive diary.
  • Board and/or Senior Leadership Team exposure.
  • Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how businesses operate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Exceptional organisation and attention to detail.
  • The confidence to prioritise, use judgement and make sensible decisions independently.
  • Strong action management and follow-through.
  • Confidence working with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 skills.
  • Experience using technology to organise priorities, actions and workflows.
  • High levels of discretion and confidentiality.
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to stay one step ahead.
Experience within a growing SME, consultancy, technology or professional services environment would be particularly useful, as would experience supporting a CEO or Founder across both professional and personal responsibilities.

The working pattern
This is initially a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week, with coverage required across all five working days.
We expect this to typically mean around four hours per day, Monday-Friday, with some flexibility around how those hours are structured according to the CEO’s diary and business priorities.
You'll work predominantly from home, with regular time alongside our CEO in Wrabness, Essex, plus occasional travel into London for meetings and business commitments.
Because of this, you'll need to live within a practical travelling distance of Wrabness.
Executive & diary management
You’ll be the person helping to keep everything moving by:
  • Taking ownership of a complex, fast-moving CEO diary.
  • Balancing strategic priorities, meetings and personal commitments.
  • Protecting the CEO’s time and confidently prioritising meeting requests.
  • Spotting diary conflicts, dependencies and upcoming requirements before they become issues.
  • Making sure meetings are properly prepared for, with the right information available in advance.
  • Keeping track of priorities, commitments, deadlines and follow-ups.
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with complete discretion.

Board & leadership support
You’ll work closely with the CEO and wider leadership team to:
  • Coordinate Board and Senior Leadership Team meetings.
  • Support the preparation and collation of Board packs.
  • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, presentations and executive updates.
  • Maintain clear action and decision trackers.
  • Follow up with action owners and make sure commitments don’t get lost.
  • Coordinate leadership off-sites, workshops and other key business meetings.

Keeping actions moving
  • We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just record actions, but makes sure they happen.
  • You’ll create organised systems for meetings, decisions, deadlines and actions, helping the CEO start each day with a clear view of what needs attention and what’s coming next.

Travel, events & logistics
  • You’ll support business travel and associated arrangements where required, including itineraries and accommodation, as well as helping coordinate leadership events, off-sites and workshops.
  • Things change quickly, so you’ll be comfortable adapting plans, solving logistical issues and making sure arrangements remain practical and well organised.

Personal & family administration
This role also includes an element of trusted personal support, including:
  • Coordinating personal and family commitments, appointments and logistics.
  • Supporting personal and family travel arrangements where required.
  • Coordinating household services, contractors and other administration.
  • Managing important dates, reminders and commitments.
  • Maintaining an integrated view of professional and personal priorities.
  • 25 days’ holiday
  • Flexible public holiday policy
  • A paid day off for your birthday
  • A paid volunteering day each year
  • Private medical insurance
  • Life assurance at three times basic salary
  • Group income protection
  • Employee Assistance Programme
  • Salary sacrifice pension
  • Profit share scheme, subject to policy
  • Enhanced family, sick and bereavement leave
  • Work-from-anywhere provision, subject to policy
  • A genuinely supportive, high-performing team
