Argon & Co is a global management consultancy specialising in operations strategy and transformation. We help organisations create meaningful, sustainable change across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehouse automation and distribution network optimisation.

Our work is practical, collaborative and focused on delivering real results for our clients. We foster an inclusive culture shaped by the diversity of our people, where collaboration, contribution and new ideas are encouraged across the team.

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Executive Business Development Coordinator to join Argon & Co’s Strategic Design team in Australia.

This is a varied and commercially important role that combines business development coordination, relationship-led outreach, CRM management, client meeting scheduling, event coordination and executive support.

You will help create and coordinate a reliable stream of well-targeted, high-value conversations for senior commercial leaders. Working closely with senior stakeholders and project teams, you will turn relationship and market intelligence into well-prepared client interactions.

From researching contacts and coordinating personalised outreach through to diary management, meeting follow-up and accurate record keeping, you will help ensure that every interaction is timely, thoughtful and commercially relevant.

The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, with regular collaboration through Microsoft Teams and close contact with colleagues in other locations as well as your local office. Offering a hybrid working model.

You Will

What You Will Do

  • Coordinate targeted business development campaigns, using market research, events, webinars and CRM data to identify relevant contacts and generate qualified meetings for senior commercial leaders.
  • Manage personalised outreach and follow-up, including email communication, engagement with executive assistants and coordination of introductory meetings.
  • Maintain high-quality CRM and campaign data, researching contacts, updating records, identifying new relationship opportunities and resolving data gaps or duplication.
  • Support senior leader relationship activity, including delegated LinkedIn coordination, relationship prompts and appropriately tailored communication.
  • Coordinate client feedback meetings and events, managing invitations, logistics, attendee information, follow-up and record keeping to deliver a professional client experience.
  • Provide executive and diary support when required, managing time-sensitive requests, competing priorities, last-minute changes and occasional time-zone considerations with discretion and sound judgement.

What Success Looks Like

In this role, success will mean:

  • Relevant, well-qualified meetings are secured with the appropriate senior commercial leaders
  • Targeted campaigns progress through personalised contact, disciplined follow-up and clear handovers
  • Campaign Tracker and CRM records are accurate, current, appropriately categorised and ready to support effective outreach
  • Senior leaders receive timely relationship prompts, reliable diary coordination and well-prepared support
  • Client feedback meetings and local events are organised professionally, creating a consistent and thoughtful experience for attendees
  • Potential issues, data gaps and conflicting priorities are identified early and managed with sound judgement

What You Will Bring

We are looking for someone who combines strong organisation and communication skills with commercial awareness, sound judgement and a genuine interest in building relationships.

You Will Ideally Bring

  • Experience in business development coordination, executive support, client engagement, sales support, CRM operations or a related relationship-led role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior decision makers and executive assistants
  • Practical experience using CRM systems, campaign trackers, LinkedIn and Microsoft Teams
  • The ability to learn new tools and systems quickly
  • Strong research skills and a highly attentive approach to contact data, written detail and follow-through
  • The ability to plan and progress multiple campaigns while responding flexibly to changing priorities and time-sensitive requests
  • A customer-service mindset, ideally demonstrated in professional services, hospitality, executive support or another high-trust environment
  • Experience coordinating meetings, events, diaries or other activities involving senior stakeholders
  • The ability to handle commercially sensitive information with discretion and professionalism

Personal Attributes

You Will Be

  • Warm and engaging, with the ability to tailor communication to the seniority, context and preferences of the person involved
  • Calm under pressure and resilient when plans change
  • Comfortable reprioritising without losing momentum or attention to detail
  • Proactive and self-directed, with the initiative to improve campaigns, research contacts and suggest practical ways of working
  • Discreet and trustworthy when handling senior relationships, commercial information and delegated communication
  • Comfortable making informed trade-offs and escalating constructively when required
  • Adaptable, persistent and able to recover quickly when an approach does not go to plan
  • Collaborative and committed to delivering a high-quality experience for clients and colleagues
