About the Role
As the leader in global diagnostic services, Labcorp’s mission is to improve health and improve lives. Diagnostic Marketing serves as a critical commercial business partner across the company to support expanding access to innovative products and services, strengthening Labcorp brand leadership in specialized testing, leveraging digital technology to improve effectiveness, and prioritizing customer experience and engagement to drive long-term value for the company.
Within Diagnostic Marketing, the Executive Director, Segment Leader shapes the vision and growth strategy for Labcorp’s diagnostic portfolio and services for Women’s Health across the whole continuum of care (wellness/fertility/pregnancy/menopause). This leader is accountable for portfolio strategy and performance, bringing together strong commercial discipline, deep clinical and scientific acumen, and exceptional communication skills to unlock value for customers and accelerate enterprise impact.
The Executive Director leverages AI as an embedded enabler of this leadership work, accelerating analysis, content, and cross-functional coordination so that the leader’s clinical and scientific judgment, commercial discipline, and strategic vision remain the foundation of every decision. AI in this role supports four modes of working: day-to-day workflow support (streamlining reviews, briefs, governance cycles, and reporting), content acceleration (drafting and refining positioning, narratives, thought-leadership inputs, and executive summaries), decision enablement (synthesizing market, customer, competitive, and portfolio signals into governance-ready evidence), and building or maintaining AI agents (configuring and stewarding purpose-built assistants that make recurring portfolio and marketing workflows repeatable across the segment team). AI is never the source of subject-matter authority or the basis of strategy; it strengthens and scales the leader’s expertise and the team’s execution.
