Role Description The Executive, Events and Partnerships is a full-time hybrid role based in Singapore, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events such as industry forums, awards, networking sessions, and member engagement activities. The Executive will support partnership development by liaising with sponsors, corporate partners, and government agencies, managing partnership deliverables, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication. Day-to-day responsibilities include event logistics coordination, vendor and venue management, budget tracking, marketing support for events and initiatives, and post-event evaluation and reporting. The role also involves supporting member outreach, maintaining databases, preparing presentations and materials, and contributing ideas to enhance RAS programmes and industry visibility.

Qualifications

  • Experience in events planning, coordination, and on-site execution, preferably within associations, F&B, or related industries.
  • Skills in stakeholder management, partnership support, and relationship building with sponsors, members, and government agencies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including attention to detail, time management, and ability to handle multiple activities concurrently.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal communication, including drafting event collateral, presentations, and professional correspondence.
  • Comfort with basic digital tools and platforms (e.g., MS Office, event registration systems, CRM or membership databases, social media for event promotion).
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, with flexibility for evening or weekend events when needed.
  • Diploma or degree in Events Management, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
  • Interest in the F&B sector and willingness to learn about industry trends, policies, and challenges; prior exposure to F&B or hospitality is an advantage.
