Experienced Recruitment Consultant

Financial Services / Specialist Recruitment | Flexible Remote Working | Dublin

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join a well-established specialist recruitment business and take ownership of a highly active desk within the financial services market.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys recruitment delivery, relationship management and making high-quality placements, without having to spend their first six months attempting to build a desk from scratch. The client base, vacancies and candidate network are already there. The opportunity is to step in, build momentum and earn well from it.

The Opportunity

You will work across a broad range of specialist positions within financial services, managing recruitment processes from initial candidate engagement through to successful placement.

The desk is exceptionally busy, with a strong flow of existing vacancies and established client relationships. As a result, the immediate focus is on delivery rather than cold business development. While there may naturally be opportunities to develop relationships and grow accounts over time, this is not a role built around relentless BD targets.

The commission and bonus structure offers excellent earning potential and is designed to reward successful, high-quality placements rather than simply activity for activity’s sake.

You will also have significant flexibility in how you structure your working week, including the option to work remotely. Any office-based time will be from our Dublin City Centre office.

What We Are Looking For

You will already have experience working as a Recruitment Consultant, ideally recruiting within financial services. We would also be interested in speaking with consultants who have recruited across a variety of technical, professional or specialist roles and are comfortable learning a complex market.

You should be someone who:

• Is experienced in managing recruitment processes independently
• Enjoys working in a busy, delivery-focused environment
• Takes ownership of their desk and follows through on commitments
• Is naturally self-motivated and comfortable working with autonomy
• Knows when to ask questions and is open to learning
• Values quality, credibility and long-term relationships
• Communicates well with both candidates and senior clients
• Is motivated by doing good work and earning strong commission from it

This will suit someone who appreciates clear direction and support but does not need to be closely monitored throughout the day. You will be trusted to manage your workload, make sensible decisions and deliver consistently.
