Hireland HR is seeking a Senior International Recruitment Consultant to help grow our recruitment business across Ireland, the UK, Italy, and the wider European market.
This opportunity is designed for an experienced recruitment professional based in Ireland who has worked within a recruitment agency and has a strong professional network or proven experience developing client relationships across Ireland, the UK, and/or Europe.
About Hireland HR
Hireland HR is an Irish recruitment and HR consulting firm supporting companies across technical, professional, industrial, and creative sectors.
Although the business is relatively new in Ireland, it is part of PEOITALY, an established Italian employment and HR consulting firm authorised by the Italian Ministry of Labour. This gives Hireland HR access to proven operational expertise, international infrastructure, and a broader range of recruitment, employment, HR outsourcing, and market-entry services.
The Role
The Senior International Recruitment Consultant will develop and manage client relationships while delivering recruitment assignments across multiple European markets.
The role combines business development, account management, and end-to-end recruitment. It is particularly suitable for an experienced agency recruiter looking for greater autonomy and a more sustainable commercial environment.
This remains a commercially focused role, but our approach prioritises quality, sustainable growth, and long-term partnerships rather than excessive short-term targets or unnecessary internal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage and expand an existing professional network across Ireland, the UK, and Europe.
- Identify new recruitment opportunities and build long-term client relationships.
- Manage recruitment assignments from initial briefing through to placement.
- Source, assess, and shortlist candidates across international markets.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial terms.
- Identify opportunities to introduce clients to wider HR, employment, and market-entry services.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and collaborate with teams in Ireland and Italy.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant within a recruitment agency.
- Experience in international or cross-border recruitment.
- An established client portfolio or network in Ireland, the UK, and/or Europe.
- Strong business development and account management skills.
- Ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle independently.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Ability to work effectively in a fully remote environment.
Knowledge of Italian, German, or another European language would be an advantage.
