Experienced Video Editor | Contractual Role

Geniai.tech is looking for an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our team on a contractual basis.

We need someone who can create premium, modern, and engaging videos for our technology products, including product demos, pitch videos, feature explainers, and advertising creatives.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Product demo and walkthrough videos

• App and web product showcase videos

• Feature announcement and promotional videos

• Pitch and presentation videos for our products

• UI/UX animations and screen-recording-based videos

• Motion graphics and visual effects

• Video advertisements for Meta, Google, TikTok, and other platforms

• Short-form videos for social media

• Product explainers and marketing videos

🛠️ Must-Have Skills

The following are mandatory:

✅ Advanced proficiency in Adobe After Effects

✅ Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro

You should be comfortable creating professional videos using both tools, including:

• Motion graphics

• Text and typography animations

• Transitions and effects

• UI animations

• Visual effects

• Color correction and grading

• Audio editing and synchronization

• Professional video compositing

• Screen recordings and product demonstrations

Additional Skills

Experience with the following will be a strong plus:

• Adobe Photoshop

• Adobe Illustrator

• Adobe Audition

• Figma

• DaVinci Resolve

• Blender / Cinema 4D

• Screen recording and product demo tools

• AI-powered video and creative tools

Experience with modern AI creative tools such as Runway, Kling, Sora, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, or similar platforms is highly desirable.

AI-Assisted Video Production

We’re looking for someone who is comfortable using the latest AI tools and workflows to improve the quality and speed of video production.

You should be able to combine traditional professional editing with AI-generated assets, visuals, voiceovers, animations, and other creative elements when appropriate.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate:

• Has 3+ years of professional video editing experience

• Has an impressive portfolio/showreel

• Has strong expertise in Adobe After Effects + Adobe Premiere Pro

• Understands modern, premium visual design

• Can turn product screenshots, UI designs, and ideas into engaging videos

• Understands how to create videos specifically for advertising and marketing

• Has strong attention to detail

• Can work independently and meet deadlines

• Is creative, proactive, and open to feedback

• Experience working with technology/SaaS/mobile apps is a plus

This role is ideal for someone who wants to work closely with a tech and product team and create high-quality visual content that will be used across product demos, pitches, social media, and paid advertising campaigns.
