Expert in Finance with Greek

POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Expert in Finance with Greek, you will ensure the execution of Accounting Operations for Record to Report (R2R) and maintain the reliability of financial statements, adhering to IFRS and country-specific legislation. You will support and guide processes related to General Ledger, Cost Accounting, Closing and Reporting, including cost allocation, product accounting, transfer pricing and profitability monitoring, while managing stakeholder relationships.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute Accounting Operations for R2R according to activity split;

• Ensure reliability of financial statements, adhering to IFRS and local legislation;

• Record and verify transactions for General Ledger and Reporting;

• Oversee cost allocation and product accounting for the dedicated Bayer Legal Entity;

• Support the End-to-End transfer pricing process;

• Monitor profitability through regular tracking and a continuous feedback loop with stakeholders;

• Act as the main contact for FA operational topics;

• Provide guidance to colleagues in accounting processes;

• Manage stakeholder relationships and collaborate with country organization;

• Handle complex local accounting topics;

• Participate in global expert communities and coordinate local key users;

• Interact with key business functions to ensure proper accounting;

• Partner with Global Experts Hub and GBS network on standards and processes;

• Conduct process-specific trainings and respond to audit requests;

• Support projects such as mergers, acquisitions or divestitures;

• Identify issues and manage changes effectively;

• Support optimization and improvement initiatives;

• Support other planning, reimbursement and impairment testing activities, as needed.

WHO YOU ARE:

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, Economics, or a relevant field;

• 4+ years of experience in Accounting, Controlling, Taxes, or Financial Analysis;

• Understanding of global accounting, controlling, and tax processes;

• Advanced knowledge of technical accounting and financial reporting;

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

• Proficiency in English and Greek;

• Ability to manage priorities with minimal supervision;

• High degree of accuracy and reliability;

• Excellent communication skills and analytical thinking;

• Ability to establish stakeholder networks;

• Motivation and ability to operate in an intercultural environment;

• Digital mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

The minimum gross monthly salary for this role is 10.480,00 PLN. The final salary will be determined based on objective factors such as professional experience, qualifications, scope of responsibility.
This position is be eligible for variable pay components, such as annual or performance-based bonuses, awarded in accordance with the applicable employee group, role scope, and compensation structure.
