This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in export coordination, international sales administration or export customer service who is looking to develop their career within an international commercial environment.

We are open to candidates from all industry sectors. Previous experience coordinating international orders, managing export documentation and communicating with overseas customers is more important than specific product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate international customer enquiries, quotations and sales orders.
  • Manage export orders from initial enquiry through to shipment and delivery.
  • Prepare and process export documentation.
  • Liaise with overseas customers, distributors, freight forwarders and logistics providers.
  • Support existing international customer relationships and assist with new sales opportunities.
  • Work closely with internal sales, manufacturing and logistics teams.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and provide order updates.

About You

  • Previous experience in an Export Coordinator, Export Sales Administrator, International Sales Coordinator or similar role.
  • Good understanding of export documentation, international shipping and logistics.
  • Experience dealing with overseas customers and coordinating international orders.
  • Strong organisational, communication and customer service skills.
  • Commercially aware, proactive and keen to develop.

Industry experience is not essential. We welcome candidates from manufacturing, distribution, engineering, FMCG or any other sector involving international trade.

What's on Offer?

  • £40,000 – £45,000 basic salary plus 15% bonus.
  • 33 days' holiday, increasing with service.
  • 5% employer pension contribution.
  • Life assurance – 3 x salary.
  • Hybrid working – 3 days in the office during training, reducing to 2 thereafter.
  • Flexible working hours and career development opportunities.
