We offer graduate roles for accounting and commerce graduates starting their careers, and more senior roles for experienced external auditors.

Roles within the Financial Audit Branch

• Graduate Auditor (ASO3)
• Senior Auditor (ASO4)
• Deputy Audit Manager (ASO5)
• Audit Manager (ASO6)
• Principal Audit Manager (ASO8)

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible, you must:

• have completed a bachelor or masters level degree in accounting or
• commerce (majoring in accounting), recognised in Australia
• meet the professional accounting body requirements below for the roles that interest you
• have valid Australian working rights
• be able to obtain a satisfactory criminal history check.

Professional accounting body requirements

• Graduate Auditor (ASO3) and Senior Auditor (ASO4) – your completed degree must meet the tertiary entry requirements for the professional accounting program of CPA Australia or Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ) (to obtain your professional accounting qualification).
• Deputy Audit Manager (ASO5) – you must be working towards your professional accounting qualification with CPA Australia or CAANZ.
• Audit Manager (ASO6) and Principal Audit Manager (ASO8) – you must have completed your professional accounting qualification with CPA Australia or CAANZ and hold current full membership.
