This role is responsible for developing and delivering a software solution as part of the Software Development agile team to meet dynamic client needs thereby increasing value for the business.
Duties & Responsibilities
Developing solutions using Java and other related technologies
Interacting with clients to understand product
requirements
Drawing up engineering documents for each part that was
identified
in the architecture phase.
Identifying
technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processed, procedures and methods.
Identifying
and designing API and UI components to ensure all functionality of the software is met.
Testing, debugging, diagnosing, and
identifying
errors and faults in an applications programming language within established protocols, guidelines, and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification.
Logging
appropriate bug
tickets using JIRA software to ensure all bugs are tracked and
fixed
Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
Preparing test cases using the
junit
and creating progress reports.
Carrying out testing for each part that has finished
construction
Evaluate products for regression and device consistency.
Evaluates and
identifies
new technologies
for
implementation
Provides Level 3 support for production issues, including after-hours production
support
Protects operations by keeping information
confidential
