Position Overview
The Media Buyer is responsible for planning, launching, managing, optimizing, and scaling paid advertising campaigns across Meta platforms, including Facebook and Instagram, on behalf of Contractor Click's home service and home improvement contractor clients.
This role requires strong technical knowledge of Meta/Google Ads Manager, a deep understanding of campaign performance metrics, creative testing instincts, and the ability to turn data into clear action. The Media Buyer is highly analytical, creative-minded, and accountable for the performance of every account under their management. They work closely with the creative team, account managers, and client success to ensure campaigns are strategically sound, properly tracked, and consistently optimized.
The Media Buyer also brings genuine curiosity about how AI can improve campaign strategy, creative testing, reporting, and workflow efficiency, and is expected to explore and apply AI tools responsibly to strengthen decision-making and results.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy and Setup
Develop and execute comprehensive media buying strategies tailored to client goals, target demographics, offers, and markets.
- Set up campaigns, ad sets, and ads within Meta/Google Ads Manager
- Ensure proper campaign structure
- Manage budget allocation
- Select bidding strategies
- Build audience targeting
- Confirm tracking is properly in place
- Create campaigns with a clear testing and scaling strategy
Creative Testing
Work closely with the creative team, including designers, copywriters, and video editors, to develop high-performing ad creatives.
- Test ad copy, visuals, hooks, offers, formats, and landing pages
- Run structured A/B tests
- Review creative performance data
- Provide clear feedback to the creative team
- Identify winning creative patterns
- Help improve future creative concepts based on results
Budget Management
Manage and scale daily and monthly ad budgets across multiple client accounts.
- Monitor spend pacing
- Allocate budgets based on performance
- Maintain target KPIs
- Improve cost efficiency
- Scale winning campaigns
- Reduce spend on underperforming campaigns
- Track key metrics such as CPA, ROAS, CTR, CPL, and conversion rate
Tracking and Analytics
Monitor performance and use tracking tools to analyze campaign results.
- Monitor campaign data consistently
- Track conversions and lead flow
- Identify trends and performance issues
- Generate actionable insights from data
- Help troubleshoot tracking or attribution problems
Campaign Optimization
Make data-driven decisions to improve live campaign performance.
- Adjust budgets and update bids

- Identify opportunities for improved performance
- Stay proactive when campaigns need attention
Reporting
Prepare and present regular campaign performance updates to account managers and internal stakeholders.

Trend Monitoring
Stay current on changes in paid media and the Meta/Google advertising ecosystem.

Qualifications
Experience
- 2+ years of proven experience as a Media Buyer.
- Attention To detail and strong communication skills.
- Strong focus on managing and scaling Meta/Google ad campaigns
- Experience with Facebook and Instagram advertising
- Agency or multi-account experience preferred
- Experience managing multiple campaigns at the same time

Education
Preferred but not required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising, or a related field
Equivalent professional experience in media buying and digital marketing will be considered.
