Role Description The Facilities Manager at Dar-Al-Masaar is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficiency of company facilities and related operations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating maintenance schedules, supervising vendors and service providers, and ensuring facilities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards. The Facilities Manager monitors facility-related budgets, tracks expenditures, and supports planning for repairs, upgrades, and equipment procurement. This role also involves developing and updating facility procedures, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams to address facility needs. The Facilities Manager is expected to manage priorities independently and communicate clearly with stakeholders while working remotely.
Qualifications
- Strong facilities management skills, including planning, coordination of maintenance activities, and oversight of vendors and service providers.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements related to facilities, with the ability to implement and monitor appropriate standards.
- Proficiency in budgeting, cost tracking, and basic financial management for facility-related expenses.
- Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects in a remote part-time setting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams and providing clear updates to stakeholders.
- Comfort with digital tools and software used for remote work, documentation, scheduling, and reporting.
- Previous experience in facilities management, operations, or a related field is highly beneficial.
- Relevant education or certification in facilities management, engineering, property management, or a related discipline is an advantage.
