General Manager

Role Description The General Manager at BBG Renewable will oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. This part-time, remote role includes coordinating cross-functional teams, managing stakeholder relationships, monitoring performance metrics, and implementing process improvements to support sustainable growth in the renewable energy sector. The General Manager will develop and execute business plans, manage budgets and financial reporting, and support business development efforts, including partner outreach and proposal review. The role also involves overseeing compliance with relevant regulations, guiding risk management activities, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment that supports innovation and continuous improvement.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in general management, operations leadership, or project management, ideally within energy, sustainability, or technology-driven industries.
• Strong skills in strategic planning, business development, and resource allocation, with the ability to set priorities and drive measurable outcomes.
• Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and interpreting financial reports to support data-informed decisions.
• Effective stakeholder and team management capabilities, including clear communication, conflict resolution, and collaboration in remote settings.
• Comfort with digital tools and platforms for remote work, project tracking, and reporting (e.g., office productivity suites, collaboration and project management software).
• Knowledge of or interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or environmental policy; direct industry experience is highly beneficial.
• Ability to work independently, manage a part-time schedule effectively, and adapt to changing priorities and market conditions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
