Job Description:

Fall Protection Sales Specialist - Brasil.

Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world.

As a Fall Protection Specialist, you will play a key role in specifying fall protection solutions—specifically lifelines and anchorage systems for working at heights, as well as solutions for access, rescue, and work in confined spaces—within the Fall Protection business unit.

Part of the Personal Safety Division (PSD) and based in Brazil, this role will focus on developing the Brazilian market, while providing comprehensive support to generalist sales representatives in identifying solutions, defining specifications, and uncovering opportunities for this product portfolio.

The impact you will have on this role:

• Lead the specifications of fall protection solutions across key priority markets, such as Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, Telecommunications, etc.
• Implement the division’s development and growth strategy for brazilian markets.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and analyze the division’s client portfolio, as well as the potential for new opportunities within the assigned markets.
• Establish a routine for visiting priority clients, supporting their development using Salesforce (for managing client portfolios, opportunities, time, etc.).
• Work on the specification of 3M products for clients—either directly or in partnership with our sales channels—with the goal of generating and capturing new business opportunities.
  

The skills and experience we are looking for.

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

• A university degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Materials, or Civil Engineering). Candidates with backgrounds in Occupational Safety, Business Management, or Marketing will also be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales within the industrial market. (Personal Safety Market experience is desirable)
• Advance English proficiency is required.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems (desirable).
• Availability to travel in the country.
• Knowledge of the product portfolio and local regulations (desirable).

Job location:

• Work location: This role follows an on-site work model, requiring the employee to work at least 2 days per week at the 3M Brazil office (Sumaré).
  
• Travel: May include up to 70% domestic travel.
  
• Relocation: Not authorized
