Applicant Must Live In West Virginia Program Overview: The CSEDW program provides additional Medicaid support to children from ages three to 21 with serious mental, behavioral, or emotional health needs. The program helps keep children with their families at home or in the community instead of going to a care facility or a group home. While they are at home or in the community, they receive services to improve their condition. CSEDW is a West Virginia Medicaid Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) waiver program that allows children with serious emotional disorders receive additional services based on the National Wraparound Initiative model. This model uses the strengths of families and each person to start growing and changing. This model also helps the child and their family get the skills they need to deal with challenges and helps keep the child stable at home. Responsibilities: Under the general supervision of the Program Director, this position provides mental health services to children and training for their families in their homes. Experience working with children's and families in the home is preferred, but not required. The Therapist will act as a member of a treatment team and give feedback on client progress. The Therapist will provide treatment as directed by the treatment plan and more often as necessary. The Therapist will travel (possibly to multiple counties in a service area) and be able to work in homes of families that are served. Responsible for meeting performance expectations including contract requirements, timelines, regulations and laws. Provides direct services per program state, and contract guidelines. Ensures services are in compliance with all regulatory standards and contract terms and conditions. Completes all required paperwork and follows agency policies and procedures within timelines, to ensure smooth paperwork flow. Acquires and develops resources to meet identified needs of clients and staff. Obtain CEUs as required by licensure and maintain all licensure requirements. Attend weekly virtual team meeting with the Director Qualifications: · Masters Degree in a Human Services field. · Licensed as one of the following: licensed psychologist (LP), licensed professional counselor (LPC), licensed graduate social worker (LGSW), licensed independent social worker (LICSW), licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), board certified behavior analyst (BCBA) · 1 year Documented experience in trauma-informed care and using generally accepted practice of therapies recognized by national accrediting bodies for psychology, psychiatry, counseling, and social work. · Must be able to work a flexible schedule · Must have a valid driver's license and transportation · Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs · A commitment to working with youth and families · Must be able to collaborate closely with a team of family members and professionals to develop and implement individual plans of care · Employees must be able to effectively work with and be respectful and sensitive to persons from various cultures, socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, and racial backgrounds
