Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring for a FC Operations Lead to support our newly awarded TSA Focus contract. This position will be located in Herndon, VA and will be fully a hyrbrid remote position
Responsibilities
- Leads IT support operations at TSA's FC and Site W locations
- Provides technical and management leadership for major IT field support services in classified settings, establishing goals and plans that meet project objectives
- Directs and controls all field support activities at FC and Site W, having overall responsibility for management, methods, and staffing to ensure technical requirements are met
- Organizes and coordinates 24x7x365 on-site support at FC, 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday at Site W, with staffing and escalation suitable for watch floor operations
- Directs and leads IT Help Desk and desk side support, WebEOC User Support and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team, and DSRN
- Provides touch labor for designated systems at FC and Site W
- Coordinate and perform touch labor, as necessary, in support of troubleshooting and repairing non-TSA systems located at Freedom Center and Site W (e.g. HSDN, FAA, USSS)
- Provides IT support to other Government Agencies (e.g. Secret Service, DoD, FAA) at the Freedom Center and Site W during setup for special events (e.g. State of the Union Address, national-level exercises)
- Performs the physical integration and connection of non-TSA systems and accessories at user workstations as directed (e g setup of workspaces with KVM extenders, radio terminals, HSDN, etc in support of non-TSA tenant operations
- Supports FC/Site W events and exercises
- Maintains unclassified and classified network infrastructure (copper and fiber) at the Freedom Center and Site W and coordinate with engineering teams
- Maintains readiness of COOP-designated equipment at FC
- Supports shifts of operations to Site W as directed
Qualifications
High School with 10+ years (or commensurate experience)
Required Skills and Experience
- 8 years experience in managing, directing, and leading IT Field Services in a classified setting, including deskside support, mobility support, deployment services, asset management inventory assistance, video conferencing and A/V O&M, and local on-site cabling
- Possesses strong strategic management leadership and interpersonal skills, applies domain expertise to make decisive problem-solving decisions, and effectively plans and coordinates complex project implementations
Clearance Required: Must have an active TS/SCI clearance
