Federal Work Study/School of Health Studies Lab Assistant Woodland Park

To gain valuable work experience in a laboratory setting while performing student-service related tasks, the Lab Assistant will be responsible for: maintaining the cleanliness of lab spaces, including desks, sinks, and shared equipment. Refill and organize lab supplies, such as gloves and disinfectants. Wipe down equipment and sanitize high-touch areas regularly. Help track inventory and notify staff when stock is low. Follow all lab safety rules and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and perform other maintenance-related tasks as assigned.

Must be FWS eligible.

• Current student in good academic standing
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Dependable, punctual, and professional in conduct
• Basic understanding of lab safety and cleanliness
• Willingness to perform physical tasks such as lifting 30-45lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods
