With operations across Thailand and a growing presence in Southeast Asia, the company works closely with farmers, cooperatives, commercial partners, and research institutions to bring innovative agricultural technologies into real-world farming systems. As the business continues to grow, the company is expanding its field operations and product portfolio and is looking for a hands-on agronomist to lead and manage field trials across Thailand. About the Role The Field Agronomist will be the company's hands and eyes on the ground, responsible for setting up and managing field trial plots, conducting rigorous agricultural trials, and designing regenerative farming programmes around the company's products. This person will take ownership of the field-based science, from the initial engagement with growers through to collecting and analysing harvest data to demonstrate measurable trial results. The role involves working closely with farmers, cooperatives, and internal science and commercial teams to ensure each pilot is properly executed and generates meaningful insights that support product development and commercial growth. Responsibilities Design and set up replicated, statistically sound field trials across different crops and regions, with clear controls, protocols, and success metrics. Manage trials end-to-end, including application timing, sampling, measurements, and data collection. Maintain clean and consistent trial data to support product development, agronomic recommendations, and commercial decisions. Design agronomic and regenerative farming programmes tailored to local soils, crops, and farmer practices. Work closely with farmers and cooperatives, building trust and training them on trial protocols and best practices. Translate field results into clear and practical recommendations, including demonstrating the potential ROI and value of the products. Travel regularly to trial locations across Thailand, particularly during peak trial seasons. Turn trial data into clear reports and recommendations that improve future formulations, protocols, and commercial applications. Work closely with science and sales teams to ensure insights from the field are effectively applied across the business. Qualifications Degree in Agronomy, Soil Science, Plant Science, Agriculture, or a related field. Approximately 5+ years of hands-on agronomic experience, ideally within Thai farming systems. Strong field trial experience, including designing trials, controlling variables, collecting data, and interpreting results. Good understanding of regenerative agriculture, soil health, plant nutrition, and agricultural practices. Comfortable travelling extensively to rural trial sites across Thailand. Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate scientific concepts clearly to farmers and non-technical stakeholders. Comfortable using Excel and other data collection and analysis tools. Open to learning and using new technologies, including AI-powered agricultural tools, digital data platforms, and agricultural technology. Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel independently to field locations. Nice to Have Experience with foliar nutrition, biostimulants, biological products, or specialty crop inputs. An existing network among Thai farmers, cooperatives, mills, or agricultural retailers. Experience scaling agronomy programmes across multiple regions or countries. Hands-on experience with agricultural drones or AI-driven crop analysis tools. Language Proficiency Native or fluent Thai. Working proficiency in English. Benefits Mileage allowance for field travel.
