About World Wide Technology

World Wide Technology (WWT) strives to make a new world happen. Our work benefits clients and partners as much as it does our people and communities across the globe.

Founded in 1990, WWT brings together strategy, deep technical expertise and world-class partnerships to help public and private sector organizations design, build and scale intelligent AI, digital, cybersecurity, cloud and infrastructure solutions. Through our Advanced Technology Center (ATC), a collaborative ecosystem featuring state-of-the-art hardware and software, clients and partners can conceptualize, test and validate innovative technology, then deploy solutions at scale using our global integration and distribution capabilities.

With more than 14,000 team members and over 60 locations globally, WWT’s culture, grounded in core values and leadership philosophies, has been recognized by Fortune® and Great Place to Work® for its commitment to innovation, trust and creating a great place to work for all. WWT provides products and services to large enterprise, global service provider and public sector clients in up to 130 countries across six continents. Softchoice, a World Wide Technology company, supports commercial and SMB markets in the U.S. and Canada.

WWT designs, deploys and operates the physical and logical foundations that make enterprise AI possible: GPU compute clusters, high-performance networking, storage architectures, power and cooling systems, and the platforms that tie them together. As an eleven-time NVIDIA Partner of the Year for AI and Deep Learning, WWT brings unmatched depth in AI infrastructure at enterprise scale.

The Opportunity

This is our most senior client-facing technical role. As Field CTO, you operate at the frontier of client engagement: shaping AI infrastructure strategy with C-suite executives, generating demand for WWT’s capabilities, and ensuring WWT is the indispensable partner for every major AI infrastructure investment in EMEA.

You combine deep technical credibility with commercial instinct and boardroom presence.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide C-suite advisory on AI infrastructure strategy, including business case inputs and technology strategy for the target customer
  • Shape demand through executive relationships, speaking engagements and thought leadership
  • Position WWT’s capabilities in pre-sales pursuits and strategic account plans
  • Advise clients on the AI infrastructure technology landscape and trends, including hardware, software and end-customer/off-taker demands
  • Develop and present WWT’s point of view at industry events, executive briefings and partner forums
  • Collaborate with and orchestrate our strategic partners on joint client engagements
  • Mentor and develop senior technical talent

  • 5+ years in a client-facing senior technical leadership role (Field CTO, CTO, VP Engineering or Distinguished Engineer)
  • Deep understanding of the AI ecosystem, including the elements required for success
  • Commercial acumen: the ability to shape deals and position technical capability for business impact
  • Stage and boardroom presence: confident presenting to boards, at conferences and in the media

Nice-to-haves

  • Published thought leadership on AI, HPC or data centre architecture
  • Existing relationships with the AI industry ecosystem
