About GravitasOPG: GravitasOPG is the Govt and Social research team within the One Picture NZ group. It delivers research and fieldwork projects requiring reliable, well-organised teams and high-quality execution. Our people are crucial to delivering successful projects, and this role plays an important part in ensuring our fieldwork operations run efficiently. About The Role: We are looking for an organised, practical and solutions-focused Field Lead to take ownership and coordinate the day-to-day staffing, rostering and operational delivery of our fieldwork projects. You will be the main point of contact for fieldwork delivery. This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who enjoys keeping people, schedules and projects running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for sourcing, ensuring that the right people are recruited into the team. You will need to then make sure you have these people rostered efficiently to the right shifts, ensuring coverage gaps are resolved quickly, and fieldwork teams have the support they need to deliver quality work. You’ll work with the Fieldwork Director and a team of established field staff, as well as casual and fixed-term staff brought in according to project requirements. Responsibilities: Manage staffing, including recruitment and rostering Coordinate field operations for active GravitasOPG projects Monitor staff attendance, performance and project KPIs Maintain quality, compliance and health & safety standards Coordinate the day-to-day operational issues Communicate clearly and proactively with the field teams and fieldwork director on any changes or risks.
