Rithum™ is the world’s most trusted commerce network, accelerating how brands, suppliers, and retailers work together to deliver seamless e-commerce experiences. We provide an unmatched platform for brands and retailers, enabling them to accelerate growth, optimise operations across channels, scale product offerings and enhance margins.

Today, more than 40,000 companies trust Rithum to grow their business across hundreds of channels, representing over $50 billion in annual GMV. Using our commerce, marketing, and delivery solutions, our customers create optimised consumer shopping journeys from beginning to end.

Overview

As the Field Marketing & Events Manager, you own Rithum’s field marketing and events program across assigned regions and play a defined role in executing the events calendar. You design and deliver a portfolio that spans client conferences, industry trade shows, internal company gatherings, executive dinners, and multi-city roadshows. You are accountable for the demand those programs generate, including leads, pipeline, and client engagement, and for the localized marketing strategy that connects them to Rithum’s business objectives within assigned regions. Working with senior marketing leadership and regional sales, you define what success looks like for field marketing, build the processes that make strong events repeatable, and deliver experiences that raise Rithum’s brand visibility with clients and industry leaders.

At Rithum, all team members are expected to leverage AI to work smarter, accelerate decision-making, automate repeatable work, and improve outcomes. You are encouraged to continuously identify opportunities to apply AI, data, and scalable processes to enhance productivity, drive innovation, and deliver greater value for our clients, partners, and teams while maintaining appropriate judgment, quality, security, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Regional Strategy & Events Planning

  • Define and execute the field events plan within assigned regions, setting clear objectives and measurable goals for brand visibility and business impact
  • Partner with field marketing and sales leadership to plan and execute events within the global field plan, with clear ownership agreed for each event
  • Develop and execute localized marketing strategies that drive demand, generate leads, and accelerate the sales pipeline across markets within assigned regions

Event Delivery & Execution

  • Plan and execute a broad range of events, from high-touch executive dinners to mid-scale multi-city roadshows, each with defined objectives, tracking, and measurement
  • Lead end-to-end event execution, including budgeting, pre- and post-event marketing, on-site and offsite experience and logistics, vendor management, and post-event analysis
  • Coordinate across time zones with sales, field, and event vendors so that execution standards, timelines, and handoffs are consistent between regions

Measurement & Continuous Improvement

  • Track event performance against attendance, leads generated, opportunities and pipeline generated, and client feedback, and present actionable insight to stakeholders
  • Build repeatable processes, templates, and post-event review practices that deliver consistent results across all regions and calendars, not just through individual effort, and apply a single measurement standard throughout.

AI-Enabled Practice

  • Use AI to improve the quality of event planning and performance decisions, not only the speed of delivery, surfacing alternatives and stress-testing assumptions before committing budget
  • Model and share effective AI practices with the wider marketing team, and be clear about what must be verified before AI-assisted material reaches clients or partners

Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across sales, marketing, content, product, and client success, as well as external partners, to deliver seamless events aligned with business goals.
  • Leverage company websites, online content, industry trends, and emerging technologies to enhance the client experience and event effectiveness

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years in field or corporate events marketing within an enterprise B2B software or e-commerce organization, with experience across multiple regions and markets
  • Previous experience in events and field marketing within the e-commerce sector, engaging e-commerce audiences
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing large industry events, including Shoptalk, NRF, eTail
  • Strong working knowledge of the B2B technology ecosystem and of regional differences in event strategy, audience engagement, and execution
  • Successful ownership and management of event budgets across varying scales and complexity
  • Proven experience planning and executing events with clearly defined budgets, objectives, and measurable KPIs, pre- and post-event
  • Working knowledge of core marketing metrics and their application in measuring event success and field marketing impact
  • Experience with event management tools and platforms such as Asana, Marketo, Cvent, Salesforce, HubSpot, and virtual event platforms
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent events to deadline across more than one market and time zone
  • Experience collaborating with senior cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales and Client Success, to align marketing initiatives with broader business objectives
  • Ability to travel globally on a regular basis for events, with authorization to work and travel internationally
  • Experience using AI tools to improve marketing or events work, including planning, analysis, content development, and reporting, with verification of output before it reaches clients or partners

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years in field or corporate events management within B2B technology, software, or e-commerce
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • Previous experience in events and field marketing within the e-commerce sector, engaging e-commerce audiences
  • Experience supporting events in both EMEA and North America across diverse industries and market segments
  • Experience working directly with sales to drive measurable results
  • London-based, with the ability to travel to the office, as this role collaborates closely with the regional sales team and a global field marketing team
