About the Role
As Field Marketing Manager for the West Region, you are the marketing owner for the West Region, accountable for the territory plan, the account strategy underneath it, and the pipeline it produces. You'll build the quarterly plan side by side with sales leadership, decide which accounts get white-glove 1:1 treatment and which get scaled coverage, and run the full program mix including executive dinners, industry conferences, customer roundtables, partner events. If you thrive at the intersection of events, sales, and marketing and want to build something at a company redefining an industry, this role is for you.
What You'll Own
- Build and own the quarterly field marketing plan for the West Region, including goals, priority accounts, program mix, budget, and expected pipeline contribution.
- Plan and run regional programs such as trade shows, industry conferences, executive dinners, customer roundtables, partner events, and regional webinars. You'll handle logistics from start to finish including picking venues and vendors, running the event on site, and following up afterward.
- Work with the channel team on co-marketing with regional partners, including joint events, co-branded campaigns, and shared account targeting.
- Serve as the main marketing contact for AEs, SDRs, sales leadership, and channel partners in the West. Join territory planning and pipeline reviews and bring your own recommendations to QBRs.
- Report on sourced and influenced pipeline, account penetration within target tiers, meeting and opportunity conversion, deal velocity, influenced ARR, and cost per opportunity. Work with RevOps to keep attribution accurate.
- Use AI in your daily work. Kai is an AI company, and we expect our marketers to use AI for account research, personalization at scale, content localization, and the routine operational tasks that would otherwise take up your week.
What You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, events, or regional marketing, ideally in cybersecurity or enterprise technology, with a track record of planning and executing programs that generate and accelerate pipeline.
- Hands-on experience planning and managing a range of field programs including trade shows, executive dinners, roundtables, and regional events, with strong attention to logistics, attendee experience, and post-event follow-through.
- Proven ability to work closely with regional sales teams and channel partners, with a track record of strong program adoption and coordinated follow-up that converts event activity into pipeline.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to run multiple programs simultaneously, manage vendors and budgets, and keep every initiative on track without losing attention to detail.
- Exceptional written communication skills, including the ability to write compelling event invitations, pre-event outreach, and post-event follow-up copy that drives engagement and response.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25-30% for regional events and meetings.
