About Magnific
Magnific is the creative AI platform where teams create, edit and upscale visual content across image, video, audio and 3D, with a library of more than 200 million assets. Formerly Freepik, Magnific serves more than 1 million paid subscribers and 100 million monthly visits.
We also run Upscale, our event brand for creativity, AI, design and technology. It includes Upscale Conf, our flagship annual conference, Upscale Days, one-day events in cities like New York, Los Angeles, London, Singapore, Paris and Berlin, and external events under Magnific in cities like Toronto, Seoul, and Shanghai.
How we work
We move fast. We test, learn and act quickly.
Impact over titles. Good ideas win, whoever they come from, and everyone owns their work.
AI-first. We use AI every day, and what we know about AI trends, enterprise use and creatives shapes our events.
We sweat the details. Every Magnific experience meets a high bar.
One global team. We work across New York, San Francisco, Europe and APAC.
The role
As Field Marketing Specialist, you’ll grow Magnific’s presence at events worldwide across two areas: global sponsorships and partnerships, and Magnific events, including Upscale Days and Upscale Conf. The balance between the two will shift with the event calendar and business priorities.
You’ll report to our SF-based Field Marketing Manager, who leads both areas, and work closely with our teams in San Francisco and Spain.
What you’ll do
Sponsorships and partnerships
Find the conferences, events and festivals where Magnific should show up. Work with the team to evaluate and prioritize them, then negotiate deals and manage contracts and deliverables.
Own the strategy and planning for each sponsorship, including booths, activations, speaking slots and branding. As the main contact for organizers and partners, keep our presence consistent and strong at every event.
Coordinate staffing and team communication for each event. You’ll often lead on site, and you’ll hand off to local teams when an event is in their region.
Magnific and Upscale events
Support the plan and help produce Magnific events, from intimate dinners to larger activations, and support Upscale Days and Upscale Conf
Work with brand, social, content, design and sales to drive attendance and B2B leads
Across both
Manage budgets, track results against our KPIs (leads, attendance, ticket sales and partner ROI) and recommend where to invest next
What you’ll accomplish
30 days
Learn the product, brand and our past sponsorships and events. Meet the team and partners in Sales and Brand. Support a live event on site.
90 days
Own active sponsorships and at least one Magnific event end to end. Set up lead handoff to Enterprise. Draft a 2027 sponsorship calendar.
6 months
Run the sponsorship portfolio and event calendar, with a 2027 sponsorship plan built within budget. Own an Upscale Conf workstream. Report results for every event.
Who you are
An owner. You take projects from idea to recap without being asked.
Organized and calm under pressure. You keep information organized and easy to find, using our internal tools to collect, share and report on every sponsorship and event. You stay steady when plans change, even on show day.
Collaborative. You do your best work on a creative, open-minded team. You give and seek feedback, and you look for ways to improve after every event.
Curious and data-minded. You follow creative AI closely and use results to make better decisions.
