Opportunity At JBT Marel , we're looking for a Field Service Control Technician . You will be responsible for Performance maintenance and setup work on all Bevcorp products including, but not limited to, Capping, Filling, Seaming, and Blending machinery. Responsibilities: Set up and adjust machines, in the field and in our Bevcorp facilities, to equipment specifications. Troubleshoot and repair machinery mechanically (hydraulic/pneumatic) and electronically. Prepare detailed schematics and working engineering drawings of electrical devices and systems Conduct electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic design, peripheral device programming, machine PLC programming, coordinate the machine debug, power-up, and machine validation with build and electrical teams and provide customer documentation as needed Travel to install site for install and runoffs with customer when applicable and necessary Exhibit a continual commitment to safety, understand risks, keep up on safety training, report / document incidents as required. Support the Technical Writer for catalog/manual development Ability to interact with company personnel, customers and vendors while representing company in a professional manner. Generate bills of materials from specifications and drawings Work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for customers Integrate Bevcorp equipment with existing machinery in the field Provide troubleshooting support for existing machinery in field Perform checks and setup of chucks and rolls. Perform machine audits, repairs, and preventative scheduled maintenance. Install, commission, and set up Bevcorp products in customer facilities. Diagnose problems, dismantle machines, replace defective parts, and reassemble machines. Identify and articulate root cause problem statements while troubleshooting. Perform all duties in accordance with JBT safety policies and procedures while maintaining a safety-focused work mentality. Changeover and setup change parts running clearance and timing. Complete service reports timely. Provide training to customers and coworkers alike. Follow high quality assembly practices while performing job duties. Complete safety initiatives as required within JBT expectations (BBSO's, Near Misses, etc.). Cross-training is an expectation and when applicable, provide training to customers and coworkers alike. When not traveling on a job, working and contributing to duties onsite at any Bevcorp facility is up to the managers discretion. Engage in equipment testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance to support our internal operations, led by the internal department leader. Complete safety initiatives as required within JBT expectations (BBSO's, Near Misses, etc.). EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 3yrs Allen Bradley and Autocad Electrical BSEE or BSEET preferred but not required in lieu of experience Packaging or food & beverage experience preferred Basic computer skills - including iPad and smart phone, use of email, Word, Excel, etc. Intermediate level of experience with AUTO CAD Mechanical and Electrical. Experience serving customers and working as a team to achieve success. Experience working on Angelus seamers, Bevcorp Blenders or Fillers, CSI Capping, preferred. Manufacturing experience in food and beverage industry preferred. Valid U.S. Driver's License. SKILLS AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS PLC Programming in the Allen Bradley environment (RSLogix5, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, Studio 5000, CCW) HMI Programming in the Allen Bradley environment (FTview) Electrical schematic drafting in Autocad Electrical Electrical circuit troubleshooting Customer relations/interpersonal skills Understanding of electrical design concepts and processes, components, circuits, and power distribution. Working knowledge of NEC< NFPA-79 and UL-508 The estimated hourly pay range for this role is $40 - $45. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.
