Who We Are
At UE Systems we believe that every person, regardless of their industry, company size, experience, or budget, should have the tools and support to help their facilities operate more efficiently, reliably, and safely. We do this by providing a portfolio of ultrasound solutions designed to be versatile and simple to use.

Since 1973, we have helped thousands of customers across the world prevent equipment failures, identify energy losses, and return home safe to their families. We are continuing to grow as we build a more disciplined, globally connected operating system to support our customers and our next stage of growth.

About the Role
We are looking for a technically skilled, customer-focused Field Service Specialist to support the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing adoption of UE Systems' ultrasound solutions, with a primary focus on our OnTrak SmartLube system.

This is an opportunity for someone with hands-on industrial maintenance, reliability, or condition-monitoring experience who enjoys solving technical challenges, working directly with customers, and helping facilities improve equipment reliability and maintenance practices.

The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of rotating equipment, bearing fundamentals, and industrial lubrication practices, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to practical customer solutions. Experience with condition-monitoring technologies is an asset.

You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful product implementation, provide technical training and support, resolve application challenges, and help customers realize the long-term value of UE Systems' solutions.

This is a field-based position requiring approximately 50% travel to customer locations, with the remaining time dedicated to remote technical support, customer engagement, documentation, and internal collaboration.

Our People
They Own Their Day:
We do not micro-manage. Our team understands the outcome, makes disciplined decisions, and communicates early when priorities, risks, or constraints change.

They Believe in a Team Approach: No one is expected to be a master of everything. We rely on each other, bring different strengths to the table, and build better systems together.

They Always Look Through a Customer Lens: Every process we build should make it easier to serve the customer accurately, reliably, and on time.

Your Impact

  • Perform onsite installation, commissioning, configuration, and troubleshooting of UE Systems' ultrasound solutions, primarily the OnTrak SmartLube system, ensuring systems operate effectively and meet customer needs.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical and application-related issues involving rotating equipment, bearing lubrication, ultrasound monitoring, and associated hardware, software, and system configurations.
  • Provide onsite and virtual technical training, ongoing support, and practical recommendations to help customers effectively use UE Systems' solutions and strengthen their maintenance and reliability programs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, working with maintenance, reliability, engineering, and operations teams to understand application challenges, improve lubrication practices, and support equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Technical Support, Training, Product Development, and other internal teams to resolve customer issues, support successful product adoption, and communicate customer feedback and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of installations, troubleshooting activities, customer interactions, and technical recommendations to support effective follow-up, issue resolution, and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in regional team meetings, technical discussions, and Communities of Practice initiatives to share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Represent UE Systems professionally at customer facilities, following site-specific safety requirements, PPE standards, and company policies while providing responsive onsite technical support.
Your Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in field service, industrial maintenance, reliability, or a related technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of rotating equipment, bearing fundamentals, and industrial lubrication practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues involving industrial equipment, hardware, and software systems.
  • Comfortable working directly with customers in industrial environments, including maintenance, reliability, engineering, and operations teams.
  • Willing and able to travel approximately 50% of the time, with a valid driver's license and passport for domestic and potential international travel.
  • Ability to work independently, manage field service activities, prioritize customer needs, and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams, and the ability to learn and use CRM and other technical software platforms.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with condition-monitoring technologies such as ultrasound, vibration analysis, or related industrial diagnostic methods.
  • Experience installing, commissioning, or supporting industrial monitoring systems, including sensors, connected hardware, and software platforms.
  • Ability to deliver effective onsite technical training to customers.
  • Familiarity with industrial networking, wireless connectivity, or troubleshooting connected monitoring devices.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
