Field Service Technician - Memphis, TN

We are looking for a Field Service Technician who works on commercial laundry equipment to join our team. This would be Level 2. Troubleshoot and or repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components. Provides support in areas of fabrication, assembly, cutting, pipefitting, and machining. Read and interpret hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematic and drawings. Work from oral and written instructions. Understand and use manuals and catalogues when ordering parts. Understand and comply with all parts ordering and issuing procedures. Maintains adherence to company policy, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices. Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor. Maintain a good inventory of parts on assigned service vehicle. Must own appropriate hand tools for the trade. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. The Most Important Activities Performed: Troubleshoots equipment issues in production environment Troubleshoot and or repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical components Work from oral and written instructions Travel is required for this job Physical Requirements: Requires ability to work off ladders, scaffolding and scissors lifts. Requires ability to do extended amounts of walking, moving equipment and tools. Minimum Qualifications Required (EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS): Prior experience in a production environment Knowledge of manufacturing processes Experience with pneumatic machinery is a plus, mechanical skills Able to lift objects up to 50 lbs. Ability to operate forklifts and other equipment High school graduate or equivalent Valid Driver's License with clean driving record (Required) Must have additional training in mechanical or electrical technology About Us: Pellerin is one of the largest sales and service companies for commercial laundry and finishing equipment in the country.
