You will help deliver reliable optical networks and data center connectivity while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, customer requirements, and execution discipline.

You will work independently and as part of a collaborative field team, applying advanced technical judgment, leading site activities when required, and communicating effectively with customers, project managers, engineers, remote support teams, and field personnel.

· Install, route, clean, test, troubleshoot, and document fiber-optic infrastructure using industry-standard equipment and methods.

· Perform work on AC and DC power systems, including grounding, power terminations, breakers, fuses, H-taps, in-line splices, and live power activities.

· Interpret and execute engineering documentation, including Methods of Procedure (MOPs), rack elevations, cable run lists, signal-flow diagrams, Bills of Material (BOMs), and installation design packages.

· Support network turn-up, equipment provisioning, acceptance testing, and work on live network equipment and circuits.

· Diagnose and resolve issues involving optical transport systems, fiber networks, power systems, and infrastructure installations; escalate issues when appropriate.

· Lead site activities as assigned by coordinating work, directing task execution, mentoring technicians, and supporting successful project delivery.

· Perform in-process and final quality inspections and verify compliance with customer requirements, Telcordia standards, and company procedures.

· Maintain accurate installation, testing, quality, and project documentation.

· Follow OSHA requirements, telecommunications safety practices, electrical safety procedures, electrostatic discharge protocols, and established risk-mitigation practices.

· Safely operate company or rented vehicles and maintain clean, safe, and properly equipped work areas.

Work Schedule and Travel

· Travel extensively throughout the United States, up to 100%, based on project requirements.

· Work in a field environment that may involve considerable overtime. Depending on project needs and travel itineraries, schedules may exceed 50 hours per week, including travel time.

· Overtime pay is provided in accordance with applicable federal and state labor laws.
