ABOUT THE ROLE The Field Supervisor at Gemini oversees day-to-day field operations, manages team performance, and ensures work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company goals. This role is accountable for maintaining process consistency, fostering professional growth, providing timely cross-functional communication, and driving continuous improvement to maximize quality and customer satisfaction. Location: Hybrid-Remote, 3 days in Office - Rocklin, CA HQ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Compensation: $75,000 - $84,000 Annually The pay range for this role is $75,000 – $84,000 Annually. Starting pay for new hires is typically within the lower third of the range: $75,000 - $78,000 Annually. Exceptions may be made based on factors such as education, specialized skills, or significant relevant experience. Requirements RESPONSIBILITIES Team Leadership & Development Manage performance: Supervise, evaluate, and mentor an assigned team of Field Specialists while maintaining clear accountability. Drive training: Lead team meetings focused on operational processes, territory updates, goal setting, and professional development. Support hiring: Facilitate the interview, selection, and onboarding processes for new field team members. Administer payroll: Manage time-off requests, expense reimbursements, time audits, and attendance tracking. Operations & Workflow Management Oversee daily workflows: Ensure field work orders are accurately prioritized, distributed, and completed within established turnaround times. Optimize territories: Balance workload distribution and coverage routing to maximize efficiency based on operational priorities. Ensure data compliance: Verify that team members maintain accurate documentation, paperwork, and real-time system updates. Manage assets: Oversee inventory, equipment availability, and technology functionality required for field operations. Continuous Improvement & Metrics Monitor KPIs: Track department metrics, including productivity, turnaround times, quality, cost per location, and budget constraints. Solve systemic issues: Use dashboards, Gemba walks, and feedback to identify root causes of performance gaps and implement scalable workflow solutions. Conduct quality audits: Perform regular reviews of field work to ensure compliance with departmental expectations. Report department health: Provide weekly updates to leadership regarding operational risks, staffing needs, and capacity. Cross-Functional Collaboration Align strategy: Participate in quarterly planning sessions to improve standard operating procedures and organizational workflows. Resolve escalations: Partner with internal teams to address complex client and customer service issues swiftly. Communicate capacity: Coordinate with Sales and Operations regarding field capacity, workflow impacts, and client needs. Own documentation: Maintain up-to-date team process manuals, standard operating procedures, and management system workflows. EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Education and/or experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in operations, customer service, or a related field. 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience required (call center or multi-team management experience preferred). Skills: Demonstrates ability to lead, motivate, and develop individuals and teams toward achieving performance goals and professional growth. Detailed in collecting, analyzing, and presenting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Skilled in standardizing processes, identifying inefficiencies, problem-solving, and implementing sustainable improvements. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and engage across all levels of the organization, and with clients. Demonstrates confidence and emotional intelligence when addressing performance or conduct-related concerns. Effectively prepares and delivers presentations to leadership, peers, and cross-functional teams. Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and deliverables. Self-motivated learner who proactively seeks opportunities for growth through webinars, training, and professional development. Ability to identify waste, recommending and implementing process enhancements. Technology: Proficient using a computer, business phone, office software, video conferencing, and other computer programs, including Google Workplace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Gmail, etc.) Plan and manage projects using project management software (i.e., Asana).
