📋 Job Description

We are seeking a File Transfer Engineer (MFT) to provide Level 2 operational support for managed file transfer platforms and ensure secure, reliable, and stable file transfer operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L2 support for managed file transfer platforms, including Axway SecureTransport, Connect/NDM, Secure Proxy, and similar tools.
• Monitor and respond to L1 alerts and ServiceNow incidents within defined SLAs.
• Execute operational runbooks for service restarts, workflow validations, certificate renewals, and production requests.
• Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and escalation.
• Monitor platform health and performance to identify potential issues proactively.
• Maintain runbooks, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
• Execute approved ServiceNow Changes, CTASKs, and SCTASKs in accordance with change management policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams during daily operations and incident resolution.
• Identify opportunities to automate tasks and improve operational efficiency.

✅ Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Technology Infrastructure Engineering, Solutions, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on technical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with application monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Grafana, or Prometheus.
• Experience performing root cause analysis and resolving production issues.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels.

⭐ Preferred / Desired Skills

• Exposure to MFT tools such as Axway SecureTransport, Connect/NDM, or SFTP platforms.
• Understanding of secure file transfer protocols, including HTTPS, SFTP, and related security protocols.
• Experience reviewing certificates and supporting encrypted data transfer workflows.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, port connectivity testing, FTP/SFTP, and certificates.
• Scripting or automation experience with Python, Ansible, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with AutoSys or other job scheduling tools.
• Ability to document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and operational procedures clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
