Salary Range: $80.00 To $85.00 Hourly

IT Consultant – IBM BAW / FileNet / Java / Kofax

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced IT Consultant to develop, enhance, maintain, and support the InfoMAP enterprise case management, document management, and workflow automation platform. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on expertise in IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), IBM FileNet, Java/J2EE, Kofax Capture, and enterprise system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot workflows using IBM BAW.

  • Maintain InfoMAP, IBM FileNet, IBM Case Manager, and IBM Content Navigator applications.

  • Develop Java/J2EE applications, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise integrations.

  • Support Kofax Capture, including scanning, OCR, indexing, validation, and document processing.

  • Troubleshoot complex application defects, workflow failures, integrations, and performance issues.

  • Perform testing, debugging, deployments, production support, and application modernization.

  • Manage source code migration from TFS to Azure DevOps (ADO) using Git.

  • Maintain technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of enterprise application development, maintenance, and integration experience.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM workflow and content management technologies.

  • Strong experience with IBM BAW, FileNet, Java/J2EE, and Kofax Capture.

  • Experience with IBM Case Manager, IBM Content Navigator customization, and FileNet APIs.

  • REST/SOAP web services, XML/JSON, SQL, stored procedures, and database integrations.

  • Experience with TFS, Azure DevOps, Git, and enterprise application support.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience modernizing IBM BPM/BAW, FileNet, and Case Manager applications.

  • Tungsten TotalAgility (formerly Kofax), IBM BAW/FileNet certification, and .NET/C#/ASP.NET knowledge.

  • Experience in government, utilities, or other regulated environments.
