The job
One month you’re cutting The Purpose of Wealth for AlTi Tiedemann Global. The next it’s a portrait of the street photographer Joel Meyerowitz for the Sony World Photography Awards, or a documentary from three weeks of footage shot in Uganda. Our film about the peat bogs of the South West, The Living Layer, was Overall Winner at the Edinburgh Conservation Film Festival 2026.
Every film gets the same attention, whoever it’s for, and we’re looking for an editor who works that way too. The cut-downs and the delivery pack get the same care as the documentary.
We cut in DaVinci Resolve, so Resolve should be where you’re fastest: editing, grading, and titles and motion graphics in Fusion. Premiere Pro is useful when a client’s project lives there.
What you’ll do
- Edit documentaries, brand films and commercial campaigns, from first assembly to final delivery
- Work with producers, directors and clients to find the strongest version of each film
- Cut social versions, trailers and campaign deliverables
- Grade and finish in Resolve
- Build titles, motion graphics and simple animation when a film needs them
- Keep timelines, exports and deliveries moving across several productions at once
- Help set the workflows and standards for a post team that’s growing
What we’re looking for
- Documentary, brand or commercial edits you can show us
- A feel for story in long and short form
- Resolve as your main tool, and Premiere Pro when a job needs it
- Motion graphics in Fusion or After Effects, as a bonus
- You keep several projects moving and take ownership of an edit without being chased
- You can talk through a creative decision clearly, with the team and with clients
Your set-up
The role is remote-first. London-based candidates are preferred, but we’ll consider anyone in the UK. You’ll need a fast, reliable connection for moving large media, and a space at home you can edit from properly.
How to apply
Send one or two pieces that show your eye, each with 50 to 100 words on your role and one decision you made in the edit. Skip the cover letter. Tell us instead what excites you, how you approach a cut and what you’d bring to ours.
Mid-weight to senior. A staff role, remote in the UK.
