Job Overview
Charles River Laboratories are recruiting a European Banking Administrator to join our European Treasury team based in Edinburgh on a 6 month contract This is a hybrid role, with expectation to be onsite 1-2 days a week.
The team supports several key regions across Europe including UK, Ireland, Germany, Netherlands, France. The role offers a platform to join a dynamic and fast paced organization. Treasury Operations is a key component in our operational model that administers CRL cash for all European Companies in Charles River and will sit alongside several specialist subject matter experts; Accounting, VAT, Corporation Tax, Controls, and Projects. EASST continues to grow and develop as a valued partner to the business as the strategic plan is implemented.
Job Description
The following are duties and responsibilities related to the European Banking Administrator position:
- Review bank balance checks throughout the day
- Review payments processing for compliance checks
- Manage mailbox
- Facilitate multi-currency banking payments including transfer of funds between entities,
- Ensure payments are all approved and ready for processing with bank
- Check all banking daily feeds have arrived and processed
- Track bank transaction as required by the business
- Manage weekly bank tracker
- Manage company Direct debits
- Assist Manager with bank signer changes and tracking these.
- Interact with CRL main bank - Citibank - and business stakeholders on day-to-day queries
- Assist with bank reconciliations as required
- Run Month end statements
