Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Performing monthly period close activities for both entities
- Posting accounting entries on a monthly basis
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Preparation of Fund Utilization reports for donors
- Preparing and filing of GST and TDS returns
- Assist in completing audits and other regulatory compliance activities
- Assisting in ad hoc analysis and reporting
Requirements
Technical Skills
- GST and TDS return preparation and filing
- Monthly period close and journal entry posting
- Balance sheet reconciliation and variance analysis
- Fund Utilization Report preparation for donors (Good to Have)
- Statutory and internal audit support
- Strong MS Excel / accounting software proficiency (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar)
- Familiarity with Indian regulatory/compliance requirements
Soft Skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills
- Ownership mindset
- Ability to manage deadlines across period-close and filing cycles
- Ability to work cross functional
Nice to Have
- Experience with nonprofit/donor fund accounting
