Finance Business Partner (12-Month FTC)

Citadel Source is partnering with an innovative, high-growth organisation to recruit a Finance Business Partner on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a purpose-led charitable trust undergoing significant growth and transformation, where you will play a key role in shaping financial reporting, commercial insight, and decision-making capability.

The role

You will work closely with senior leadership, acting as a trusted finance partner to a rapidly evolving business unit. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, you will support strategic and operational decision-making through high-quality financial analysis, modelling, forecasting and reporting. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence growth strategy, improve reporting capabilities, drive commercial performance, and support key business initiatives. The position will also play an important role in strengthening processes, controls, and business intelligence tools as the organisation continues to scale.

About you

You will be a commercially minded accountant (part-qualified or qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with strong experience in business partnering, financial planning and analysis, and stakeholder management. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, providing insight and challenge to senior leaders while helping develop reporting and decision-support capabilities. Experience within a growing or entrepreneurial business, alongside exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools, would be advantageous.

As a Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Acting as the primary finance contact for senior leadership, providing commercial insight and decision support
• Delivering budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives
• Developing and enhancing cashflow forecasting and liquidity reporting
• Producing meaningful management information, performance dashboards, and KPI reporting
• Supporting investment appraisals, pricing reviews, profitability analysis, and business case development
• Assisting with statutory reporting, audit activities, governance, and financial controls
• Driving reporting automation, business intelligence development, and continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes
