  • Supporting commercial tenders, contract negotiations and client pricing strategies
  • Developing financial models to support strategic and operational decision-making
  • Managing annual budgeting and rolling forecasting processes
  • Conducting scenario planning and providing recommendations to support business growth
  • Collaborating with HR and operational teams on resource planning and capacity management
  • Supporting Board reporting, investment decisions and strategic planning activities
  • Leading the adoption and utilisation of Power BI across the business
  • Supporting continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting and technology
  • Acting as a trusted partner and advisor to colleagues across the organisation

We’re looking for a qualified accountant with strong commercial acumen and a proven track record of successful business partnering.

You’ll likely bring:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
  • Significant experience in a Finance Business Partner, Commercial Finance or similar role
  • Experience partnering with operational or commercial teams to improve business performance and profitability
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills
  • Experience supporting pricing decisions, tenders, bids or commercial negotiations
  • A track record of influencing stakeholders outside of finance and building trusted relationships
  • Experience working within professional services, consulting, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology or another knowledge-based service environment
  • Experience within a growing SME, founder-led or private equity-backed business would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge constructively

Competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

  • A ‘learning’ culture focused on personal development and supported by study bursaries
  • Workplace pension scheme
  • Range of high street, supermarket, restaurant, gym membership, holiday and entertainment discounts via Sodexho
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Employees are given an additional day of leave for: their wedding and moving house
  • Annual leave purchase scheme of up to 10 additional days’ leave per year
