About the opportunity 

As Finance Business Partner (Sales), you will play a key role in shaping commercial performance by partnering with Sales leaders, including GMs and Sales Directors, to deliver strategic financial insights and drive informed decision-making. Supporting the Finance Manager, Sales, you'll lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, identifying opportunities to accelerate revenue growth and optimise performance.

Working closely with Sales, Product and Finance teams, you'll provide visibility of key commercial initiatives, track the impact of pricing and product investments, and translate customer and revenue outcomes into clear, actionable insights that influence business strategy.

You’ll also 

• Support all Finance-related aspects of the Sales Incentive Scheme, including annual target setting, governance of quarterly exemption requests, and ensuring alignment with Australia Post’s remuneration framework.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis, using financial modelling and scenario planning to identify risks, uncover opportunities and drive commercial decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement across finance processes by enhancing forecasting, reporting and target-setting frameworks, improving data quality, and leveraging automation to enable data-driven decision-making.

About you 

You're a commercially savvy Finance Business Partner professional who thrives on partnering with senior leaders to influence decisions and drive results. With strong forecasting, financial modelling and analytical skills, you're confident turning complex data into actionable insights. Proactive, resilient and solutions-focused, you build trusted relationships, challenge constructively, and excel in fast-paced environments where you can make a real impact.

You’ll also  

• You bring 3+ years' experience in commercial finance, FP&A, management accounting or business partnering with exposure to sales-focused environments highly regarded.
• You have a strong ability to analyse financial and operational data, identify opportunities and risks, and provide meaningful commercial insights.
• You are highly proficient in Excel and have experience working with financial planning and reporting systems such as TM1, SAP, Power BI or similar.
• You thrive in a large, matrix environment and build strong partnerships across Sales, Operations, Pricing, Commercial and Finance teams.
