Finance Director | Scaling Digital Health Company | Dublin (Hybrid)

Barden has been exclusively engaged by the co-founders of a scaling digital health company to appoint a Finance Director to a newly created leadership role.

This is a broad and influential role with real visibility. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to drive performance, support key decisions, and shape how the finance function develops as the business scales.

This role would suit a hands-on financial controller who is equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves. Experience in a start-up or scale-up business is key. You will know what it takes to build processes, systems, and reporting from the ground up, and you will enjoy the pace and variety that come with a growing company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of financial planning and reporting across the business

• Partner with finance and operational teams on performance, trends, and opportunities

• Support senior stakeholders with analysis and reporting that drives informed decision-making

• Enhance finance processes, reporting capabilities, and systems

• Play a key role in business improvement and transformation initiatives

• Deliver ad hoc analysis and support strategic projects

What they are looking for

• Qualified Accountant (Big 4 or Top 10 trained preferred) with 8+ years’ post-qualified experience

• A strong background in financial reporting and controllership

• Experience in a scaling company, as part of a close-knit leadership team

• A confident communicator who builds trusted relationships across a business

• Commercially minded, curious, and solutions-focused

• Someone who takes ownership, drives improvements, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
