Finance Manager

Finance Manager Own finance and administration for a growing business, overseeing reporting, cash flow, compliance, and operations while partnering closely with the CEO and wider team. Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to take ownership of the company’s day-to-day financial operations and accounting function. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring regulatory and tax compliance, managing cash flow, and supporting the wider operational needs of the business. The role also incorporates key administrative responsibilities and will act as a central point of contact for financial, contractual, and operational matters. The Finance Manager will report directly to the CEO . Key Responsibilities Financial Management Manage daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and ensure sufficient liquidity for business operations Process payroll and manage employee expense reports Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records Accounting Maintain the general ledger and ensure financial records are accurate and up to date Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and vendor payments Support budget preparation and financial planning Ensure compliance with tax obligations, including VAT, corporate tax, and gaming duties Administration Manage administrative matters including contracts, licences, and insurance policies Coordinate with external partners, including payment processors, auditors, and legal advisors when required Maintain organised and secure financial and administrative documentation Support HR-related administration, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records Reporting & Analysis Prepare financial reports and provide insights to support management decision-making Analyse financial data to identify trends, potential risks, and opportunities for improvement Assist with presentations and reports for management and other stakeholders Stakeholder Management Liaise with banks, payment service providers, and other financial institutions Work closely with internal teams, including IT, Customer Support, and Marketing, to support smooth business operations Act as a key point of contact for financial and administrative queries Department Finance Locations Malta Remote status Hybrid Employment type Full-time About iTalent PLUS As iGaming recruitment specialists, at iTalent PLUS, we take pride in our role as matchmakers between exceptional talent and forward-thinking employers.
