About the Role
As Whitewater Group continues to expand its international operations, we are seeking a Finance Manager to lead and strengthen the Group’s Finance function across its international entities. Working closely with the GFC and the Finance Leads, the successful candidate will provide strong financial leadership, ensuring consistent standards, effective controls and accurate and timely reporting across the Group.
This role will be responsible for leading the Finance Leads, managing the monthly close, Group consolidation and management reporting processes, and overseeing Group treasury, balance sheet governance, intercompany processes and financial controls. The successful candidate will also coordinate audit, statutory reporting and tax compliance requirements, support the consistent application of Group accounting policies, and drive standardisation, simplification and continuous improvement across Finance. In addition, the role will play a key part in the new ERP implementation, assessing and developing the Finance organisation and team capability, and acting as the GFC’s key operational Finance partner by proactively identifying issues and supporting the business with practical solutions.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Finance Leads, setting clear standards, deadlines and accountability.
- Manage the monthly close, Group consolidation and management reporting process.
- Manage the Group treasury processes, including cash visibility and forecast.
- Strengthen balance sheet governance, reconciliations, financial controls, intercompany processes and compliance across the Group.
- Coordinate audit, statutory reporting and recurring Finance compliance requirements.
- Support and develop consistent application of Group accounting policies.
- Drive standardisation, simplification and continuous improvement of Finance processes.
- Collaborate in the new ERP implementation, supporting the definition and improvement of Finance processes, requirements and controls.
- Oversee tax compliance across the Group, working with the Finance Leads and external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely filings.
- Assess the existing Finance organisation, develop team capability and recommend changes where required.
- Act as the GFC's key operational Finance partner, proactively identifying issues and proposing solutions.
Your profile
- Approximately 5–8 years of relevant Finance experience, including experience in a Finance management or team leadership role.
- Strong experience in financial accounting, month-end close, multi-entity reporting and consolidation.
- Proven experience working in an international, multi-entity environment.
- Exposure to fast-growing, transformational or acquisitive businesses is highly desirable.
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
- Recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent is desirable, but not mandatory where the candidate demonstrates a strong technical accounting background.
- Strong technical knowledge of financial accounting, consolidation and balance sheet management.
- Good understanding of cash flow, treasury, working capital, intercompany accounting and multicurrency environments.
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards, with IFRS knowledge highly desirable.
- Strong Excel skills and good systems literacy.
- ERP experience and practical understanding of Finance process design, optimisation and improvement.
- Strong ownership and personal accountability, with a proactive, curious and hands-on approach.
- Proven people leadership skills, with the ability to lead, develop and support a Finance team.
- Structured and disciplined, with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Comfortable challenging constructively and making decisions in a fast-changing environment.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different functions and seniority levels.
- Fluent English and Spanish, both spoken and written, are essential.
- Comfortable working in an international environment and collaborating with teams across multiple countries.
- Willingness to travel frequently to other Group locations as required.
- Able to combine hands-on financial management with broader responsibility for Finance processes, team development and continuous improvement.
