Finance Manager

Agility Resourcing is partnering with a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Blackpool to appoint a high-performing Qualified Finance Manager into a newly created position within its finance function. The Finance Manager will report directly to a commercially astute and engaging Financial Controller, this role offers the opportunity to take full ownership of the management accounts process, while contributing to the ongoing development of a robust, insight-led finance function. The Finance Manager Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end management accounts process, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timely delivery Produce high-quality financial and management information to support strategic decision-making Deliver detailed cost and margin analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities Partner with operational stakeholders to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance management Enhance financial controls, processes, and reporting frameworks Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with regulatory requirements Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and reporting efficiencies Candidate Profile Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a strong academic or professional track record Previous experience in a Finance Manager role Advanced Excel capability and strong financial modelling skills Prior exposure to manufacturing or cost-focused environments is advantageous Experience with ERP systems and process optimisation would be beneficial Commercially minded with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insight In Return Salary up to £52,000 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension scheme Employee discount programme This appointment represents an excellent opportunity for a talented finance professional to take ownership, influence business performance, and contribute to the continued growth of a forward-thinking organisation.
