FINANCE OFFICER

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Finance Officer to support the company's daily finance and accounting operations. The role involves preparing financial reports, monitoring expenses and cash flow, assisting with tax compliance, and maintaining accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate has a solid accounting background, good analytical skills, and is comfortable using accounting software and technology to improve work efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and assist with daily accounting tasks.
• Prepare financial reports, account reconciliations, and monthly closing documents.
• Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring, and cash flow tracking.
• Monitor invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
• Assist with tax filings, regulatory requirements, and audit documentation.
• Ensure financial records and supporting documents are complete and organized.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes using software and automation tools.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding invoices, payments, and other finance-related concerns.
• Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and tax compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software, particularly Xero, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in a BPO or shared services environment is an advantage.
