Job Description This is a remote position. We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day financial reconciliations and cash flow reporting. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of finance and technology—verifying complex usage data against vendor bills, tracking profitability metrics, and resolving billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with the professional communication needed to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external vendors. Responsibilities: ​ –Validate and reconcile amounts across invoices, vendor bills, and usage reports (e.g., AWS and other cloud platforms). –Review and compare usage versus cost data from multiple sources, including cloud consoles, distributors, and internal accounts. –Monitor and track profitability metrics to support financial decision-making. –Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in invoices or usage data on time. –Prepare clear financial summaries and reconciliation reports. –Communicate with vendors, partners, and internal teams to follow up on billing and usage queries. -Maintain organized records of reconciliations and correspondence to support audits and reviews. –Prepare and maintain up-to-date cash flow reports, giving the team a clear and accurate picture of where money is coming in and going out Requirements Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. –Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. –Proven ability to organize, compare, and reconcile data from multiple sources simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets –You’ve worked with or are willing to learn cloud billing tools like AWS Cost Explorer. –You communicate clearly and follow through — vendors and teammates know they can count on you to close the loop. Experience in a tech or cloud services environment is a definite plus
