About Swap
Swap is the infrastructure behind modern agentic commerce. The only AI-native platform connecting backend operations with a forward-thinking storefront experience.
Built for brands that want to sell anything - anywhere, Swap centralises global operations, powers intelligent workflows, and unlocks margin-protecting decisions with real-time data and capability. Our products span cross-border, tax, returns, demand planning, and our next-generation agentic storefront, giving merchants full transparency and the ability to act with confidence.
At Swap, we’re building a culture that values clarity, creativity, and shared ownership as we redefine how global commerce works.
About the Role
This is an 18-month tour of duty. You’ll join Swap’s Finance team, take ownership of our billing operations, and rebuild how they work using automation and AI. If you deliver, we’ll actively help you move into your next role at Swap, in Finance, Strategy, Operations, Product or wherever your strengths take you. You’ll work closely with our CFO, who will invest in your development and expects you to prove yourself.
We’re looking for someone early in their career who is sharp, hungry and wants to learn fast. You don’t need to be the finished article.
What you’ll do
Rebuild how billing works (around half your time, growing over the tour)
Map our billing and onboarding workflows end to end, find what’s slow, manual or error-prone, and redesign it
Lead the implementation and testing of new billing tools that consolidate our data and replace spreadsheets
Build AI and automation into billing, reconciliations and exception detection, and show the team what’s possible
Build the reporting and data checks that give Finance real visibility of billing accuracy
Run billing operations (so you understand them better than anyone)
Own Finance onboarding for new customers: billing setup, Direct Debit mandates and customer data
Prepare and review Shipping billing, and resolve queries by fixing root causes rather than symptoms
Run reconciliations, first-invoice reviews and exception investigations
Support customer terminations alongside Credit Control
What success looks like
First 90 days: you’ve learned the billing cycle cold and shipped at least one automation that saves the team real time
By 12 months: a new billing tool is live and the manual workload has dropped noticeably
By 18 months: billing runs on systems rather than heroics, and you’re ready for your next move
What we’re looking for
You must have:
Exceptional analytical ability, with evidence that you quickly make sense of complex processes and data
Instinctive process thinking: you see a manual workflow and start redesigning it
Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills and confidence with large datasets
Hands-on curiosity about AI and automation, shown by something you’ve actually built or improved
Precision and ownership: you care about getting numbers right, and you follow things through
It’s a bonus if you have:
SQL, BI tools or scripting
Experience implementing or configuring systems such as billing platforms, ERPs or CRMs
Exposure to billing, particularly usage-based or transactional billing
A background in finance operations, business analysis, consulting, or a founder’s associate role
If you meet most of this but not all of it, apply anyway. We hire for trajectory.
Salary: 154,000 - 160,000 PLN (base), depending on experience and skills.
What we offer
💰 Competitive base salary: Pay that reflects your experience and the impact you’ll have, reviewed regularly as you grow with us.

🏖️ Generous PTO: Competitive annual leave, with public holidays on top, plus your birthday off so you can celebrate properly.
🏥 Private healthcare: Comprehensive private medical cover, so you can get the care you need quickly.
🏦 Pension contributions: Company contributions to help you build long-term financial security.
🧘 Wellness benefits: Support for your physical health and wellbeing, so you can look after yourself in the way that works for you.
💚 Mental health support: Access to mental health resources and support, because looking after your mind matters as much as your body.
👶 Enhanced maternity and paternity leave: Extra support when you’re growing your family, so you can focus on what matters most.
🏡 Flexible working: Choose how and where you do your best work, with the trust and autonomy to manage your own time.
✈️ Work abroad for 4 weeks a year: Take your laptop somewhere new for up to four weeks each year, whether that’s family, travel, or a change of scenery.
🎉 Quarterly team offsite budget: A dedicated budget each quarter for your team to get together, connect, and have fun.
🍻 Thursday happy hour: Wind down the week with your colleagues at our Thursday happy hour, held across all of our locations.
🥞 Breakfast Mondays: Start the week with a good meal and good company.
Diversity & Equal Opportunities:
We embrace diversity and equality in a serious way. We are committed to building a team with a variety of backgrounds, skills, and views. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be. Creating a culture of equality isn't just the right thing to do; it's also the smart thing.
