JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Finance & Performance Manager to oversee our financial operations, improve business performance, and lead our remote finance team based in Argentina.

This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our leadership structure, helping us scale efficiently, strengthen internal systems, improve team performance, and provide financial insights that support strategic growth. What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of daily financial operations, ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
• Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
• Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
• Prepare monthly financial reports with actionable insights for leadership
• Track budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support smarter business decisions
• Monitor team performance, establish accountability, and ensure timely, accurate completion of financial tasks
• Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
• Identify and implement improvements in financial workflows, systems, and team processes
• Recommend process improvements that strengthen efficiency, accountability, and overall financial performance

What You Bring

• 15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
• Expertise in reconciliations, payroll, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial compliance
• Experience managing remote teams, monitoring performance, and improving processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindset
• A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
• Ability to take ownership, set priorities, and consistently deliver results
