About the Role

We're working on an exciting opportunity for an experienced Finance Specialist to join a well-established, government-supported organisation based in Dublin.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will take ownership of the accounts payable function, ensuring accurate financial processing, supplier management and compliance with internal financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full accounts payable process, including supplier invoices and payments.
• Process grant and non-grant payments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain supplier records and manage payment queries.
• Oversee employee expenses, purchase orders and reconciliations.
• Manage invoicing, billing and collection of grant repayments.
• Complete monthly bank, credit card and petty cash reconciliations.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar finance or accounts payable role.
• Strong working knowledge of Sage 50.
• Excellent numerical, organisational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience managing supplier payments, reconciliations and financial records.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines.
• A professional finance qualification is desirable but not essential.
