JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Finance Strategy & Operations Manager to oversee our financial operations, support strategic decision-making, and lead our remote team based in Argentina.

This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our leadership structure, helping us manage financial operations, improve internal systems and processes, and provide analysis and insights that support strategic growth. If you're experienced in finance and accounting, passionate about people and processes, and thrive in a dynamic environment, this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of daily financial operations—ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
• Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
• Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
• Prepare monthly financial reports with actionable insights for leadership
• Track budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support smarter business decisions
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business planning and strategic growth
• Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
• Identify and implement improvements in financial workflows, systems, controls, and team processes
• Establish efficient procedures and accountability standards across financial operations
• Help leadership evaluate financial performance, identify opportunities, and make informed operational decisions

What You Bring

• 15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
• Proven experience overseeing financial operations and supporting business strategy
• Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
• Strong expertise in reconciliations, payroll, bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial compliance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights
• Experience managing remote teams and working independently
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindset
• A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
• Ability to take ownership and consistently follow through
