Financial Accountant (m/f/x)

Your Responsibilities Accounting: Independent recording and processing of all ongoing business transactions, including accounts payable, fixed assets, and general ledger accounting, as well as postings for banks, cash, credit cards, and travel expenses. Financial Statements: Coordination and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all osapiens entities in Germany and abroad. 360° Responsibility: Full financial responsibility for selected osapiens entities, including audit support, reporting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. Payments: Execution and monitoring of group-wide payment transactions. Accounting & Reporting Standards: Clarification of accounting principles and handling of complex business transactions in cooperation with tax advisors, auditors, and controlling. Reconciliations: Responsibility for account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and statistical reporting. Business Partnering: Supporting specialist departments and international subsidiaries as a competent finance business partner. Integration: Onboarding and integration of new entities into the accounting system landscape. Optimization: Continuous development of existing processes and systems, particularly in the areas of fast close readiness and internal control systems. Projects: Participation in special projects such as the implementation of a new ERP system, internationalization initiatives, or M&A processes. Your Experience Completed vocational training with further qualification as a tax clerk or certified accountant, or a degree in business administration with a focus on accounting. Several years of professional experience (at least 3–5 years) in accounting, including strong experience with annual financial statement audits and accounting-related projects, ideally in an international environment. Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and tax law; additional knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP (including SOX) is an advantage. Ability to work within complex IT system landscapes and further develop them; experience in standardizing and digitalizing accounting processes. Confident user of Excel, DATEV and CRM systems. Experience in Oracle NetSuite is a plus. Fluent German (C2) and very good English skills (B2) , both written and spoken. Join us for this and more...
